Great experience in Platform 33 (previously known by 'us locals' as the Marsden Rattler) My friend and I took my daughter out for her birthday tea - we chose Platform 33 as it's dog friendly, so we could also take our 21 week old XL Bully puppy, Muffin, with us for the event (rather that than return home to a wrecked house..) Very friendly staff - most of whom who loved Muffin and couldn't resist having a little play with her, much to Muffin's delight (and ours if I'm honest - we're very proud of her!) She was a bit overexcited at first, so we chose to eat in the outside seating area rather than indoors (to save any potential embarrassment..) but to be fair, she settled down nicely when the food arrived - which was no doubt helped by the fact you can actually buy 'doggy dishes' from the menu, such as doggy sausage (which Muffin wholeheartedly enjoyed!) She was also provided with a nice bowl of fresh water from the lovely young man working at the time who said he loves Bully dog breeds He was rewarded with a huge slobbery kiss from Muffin in recognition of his efforts bless him - I'm not sure he appreciated that but he took it in good fun anyway! Happy to recommend this lovely dog friendly restaurant/pub - we'll definitely be going back when Muffin is a little bit older - the whole experience, view and lovely walk on the beach with our pup afterwards made for a really lovely, memorable night
First time ever visiting Platform 33. Lovely carvery although I don't eat a lot. Hubby found it a struggle to finish. He didn't know if to climb his plate of food or eat it. Was lovely and a bargain for 5.99. Made a nice change for lunch.

Totally took me by surprise Really great staff and welcome Excellent prices and value BUT MOST OF ALL FIRST RATE FOOD! - I WAS BLOWN AWAY! Super family friendly Totally unique Will go out of my way to visit again and again!.. Thanks guys for the finest beef and the vegan mash just was the icing on the cake! Disabled parking right at the door, car park straight opposite and what a VIEW over dunes and sea
Carvery was amazing, it’s brought to the table (during these covid times) but wow, loads of food and a huge gravy boat along with it and there’s a dogs menu for ice (she had sausages) ...
Popped in by chance today and so pleased we did. As a multi award winning restaurant/bar owner I have to give you my honest opinion on our visit. Staff were super friendly and efficient. We had cruzcampo and cider what was spot on and opted for the carvery. I have to say that was the best carvery we have ever had. Meat, veg and gravy along with the choice of options on display was delicious. Honestly, i would like to say well done to the full team for an excellent visit. I'm sorry you had some previous negative experiences and I understand yous are now under new management and trying to build back up a good reputation but our visit was well above 5 stars. Yous have definitely cracked it! We live quite far away but will definitely return. Keep up the good work team.

I’ve been a few times for carvery which has always been lovely and today I ordered the fish finger butty which was delightful! Pricing is in line with most other pub/restaurants in the area.
